Maintenance Engineer – Kegworth, Derbyshire
Salary: £59,700
Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off, 12‑hour shifts, 6‑6 (rotating days and nights)

Responsibilities
You will be an integral part of the maintenance team, ensuring the factory is kept up and running at its highest capacity, and work as part of a well‑regulated, focused maintenance team. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance work across a variety of equipment—including blow moulding machinery, pallet wrappers, shrink wrappers, conveyors, check weighers, palletisers, packaging machinery, processing systems, specialist food processing machinery, silos, pumps, pipework, pneumatics, etc.
* Working closely with the Engineering Team Leader, taking responsibility for delivering a high‑quality Engineering service.
* Rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
* Completing a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area.
* Continuously working to improve performance to deliver site efficiency and performance standards.
* Getting involved with factory improvement projects.
Qualifications and Experience
We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer (multiple‑skilled or biased) who is time‑served or apprenticeship‑trained and can rapidly diagnose and resolve problems and lead maintenance and continuous improvement activity.
* Minimum L3 engineering qualification or time served
* Multi‑skilled background – either biased
* Confidence to put forward new ideas and suggestions.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in daily tasks and duties.
* Experience with processing equipment: pipework, pumps, silos, turning equipment.
* Further skillset: fault finding in panels, sensors, relays, inverters, drives, motors, pumps, pneumatics, and pipework.
