We are actively seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Leader to contribute to our successful service.
Our Tunbridge Wells service thrives as a dynamic and collaborative team, featuring dedicated staff including a service manager, consultant psychiatrists and psychologists, medical professionals, caring nurses, empathetic recovery staff, dedicated volunteers, efficient administrators, and supportive peer mentors.
Location: Based in Tunbridge Wells but some occasional travel to our other services in Maidstone & Gravesend may be required.
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £34,700.09 - £36,635.38 dependent on experience
Responsibilities
About us:
Our Tunbridge Wells service provides recovery support for individuals who use our services. Our goal is to empower individuals, providing holistic support and treatment tailored to their needs. We offer both one-to-one and group sessions, along with medical treatments.
The Role:
As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role at the forefront of our services in Tunbridge Wells. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing a compassionate staff team, offering support and supervision whilst promoting development.
2. Empowering staff to foster hope and create opportunities for people who use our services.
3. Identifying and supporting at-risk individuals and families.
4. Ensuring staff competence in interventions that reduce risks to those who use our services.
5. Leading in the recruitment, selection, and induction of staff with support from central functions.
About You:
To thrive in this role, we are looking for individuals who possess:
6. Degree level education or experience of working in the Substance Misuse sector.
7. Experience in leading health and social care services.
8. Significant experience in working with families subject to social care intervention.
9. Knowledge of legislation surrounding safeguarding.
10. Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
