Are you an experienced forklift operator looking to step into a more responsible, hands-on role? Were looking for a proactive and reliable Lead Multi Skilled Forklift Driver to play a key role in keeping our yard operations running safely, smoothly and efficiently.
This a new role in the business and is a varied, practical role where no two days are the same. Youll work closely with the Shift Supervisor, support and guide other drivers, and take pride in maintaining a safe, well-organised site
Working hours 06:30am - 7:00pm on a Panama shift pattern
The position
1. Supporting the Shift Supervisor with the day-to-day coordination of yard operations
2. Acting as the go-to person for forklift drivers during your shift, offering guidance and support
3. Training and mentoring new team members, helping them develop safe and efficient working practices
4. Operating forklifts and other handling equipment to move, load and unload produce and materials
5. Ensuring all loads are secure and that people, equipment and buildings are protected
6. Maintaining a safe working environment by monitoring activity and reporting hazards or near misses
