Senior NPD Technologist (New Product Development)
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:30
Cranswick Country Foods, Staithes Road, Preston, Hull, HU12 8TB
Main Duties Include (but not limited to):
* Product Development: Work closely with the NPD Chef and other teams to develop new concepts and ensure products meet the specifications for consumer and business needs, with a strong focus on quality and innovation.
* Customer Engagement: Act as a key contact for customers, participating in presentations and responding to feedback, ensuring effective communication throughout the product development process.
* Project Management: Manage development projects from customer brief to launch, ensuring all aspects are delivered on time and meet customer and business requirements.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside departments including technical, operations, and commercial teams to ensure the smooth launch of new products and compliance with company policies.
* Cost Considerations: Ensure new product developments align with commercial requirements, including managing ingredient costs and publishing accurate recipes for costing and sign-off.
* Market Insight: Stay informed on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity, contributing to benchmarking and concept development.
* Launch process custodian: Ensure meticulous adherence to the product development process, rigorously overseeing each stage's completion, accurate documentation, and effective communication with key stakeholders.
