Science Teacher (KS3 & 4) - Tower Hamlets We are currently seeking a highly qualified and motivated Science Teacher to join a well-respected secondary school in Tower Hamlets, starting in September 2024. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary within the MPS/UPS range (M1 to UPS3). About the Role As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will be expected to: Plan and execute a stimulating and differentiated Science curriculum in line with the national curriculum and school guidelines. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of science. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth and development. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes: A Bachelor's degree or higher in Science or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Demonstrated experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students. A strong passion for science and a commitment to inspiring young minds. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
