Role
: Senior Automation Engineer (SME)
Location : Remote (Occasionally need to travel to Bromley or London)
Duration : 12 Months
Experience and Skills required :
1. Good knowledge on Test Automation Framework like Data-Driven, BDD, hybrid framework
2. SQL, Unix knowledge
3. Experience as a QA Engineer and framework Selenium TypeScript
4. Complete understanding of automation systems and databases
5. Knowledge of programming languages like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS,python
6. Basic knowledge of scripting and other related procedures
7. Understanding of testing protocols
8. Know-how of different types of testing methods like white box and black box testing
9. Familiarity with the software development process
10. Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities:
11. Planning and prioritizing testing activities
12. Helping identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application.
13. Design and execute QA tests using scripts that automatically test the functionality and regression.
14. Suggesting automated software test procedures
15. Tracking software bugs and investigating the causes
16. Pointing out problem areas
17. Preparing automation scripts
18. Troubleshooting automation software issues
19. Creating test plans and cases
20. Preparing detailed test reports
21. Reviewing technical specifications and design documents
22. Conducting regression testing when needed
23. Monitoring assurance metrics and process results
