Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant (Temporary – 12 Weeks) Location: Redditch, Worcestershire Contract: Temporary – 12 weeks (November to January) Hours: Approx. 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday Pay: £14ph About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to provide support during a period of staff sickness. The role will start in November and run through to January (please note the business is closed for one week over Christmas). You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the accounts function. Key Responsibilities: * Managing daily bookkeeping duties * Processing invoices, payments and receipts * Reconciling accounts and bank statements * Preparing financial reports as required * Supporting with payroll and general finance admin * Maintaining accurate records within Sage What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounts * Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Good organisational and communication skills * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively The Details: * Temporary 12-week assignment (November–January) * Closed for one week over Christmas * Approx. 25 hours per week (5 hours per day, Monday–Friday) * Potential for the role to be extended If you’re an organised and reliable accounts professional looking for a short-term opportunity within a supportive business, we’d love to hear from you.
