Preparation and first review of timely financial and management accounts and information assisted by the Management Accounts AssistantsPreparation/review of quarterly VAT returns/reconciliationsReview monthly bank reconciliationsPayroll for UK Group & Headcount reportingQuarterly returns and annual renewals of ATOL and ABTOT Authoriser of paymentsUnderstanding of EU VAT requirements and implementation of rules if required by EU authoritiesCompletion of ONS surveysSupporting the Head of Finance with budgeting and forecasting Excel modelsMonthly currency analysisSupport Head of Finance with cashflow and currency management, including intercompany paymentsPreparation of Audit filesAd-hoc tasks as required to support the Head of Finance and the wider management team including reporting and analysisCover and general support for team members as required.
The Successful Applicant
The successful applicant:
3. Ideally be studying towards a professional accounting qualification or be QBE
4. Ideally have Sage 200 experience
5. Knowledge of FRS102 and UKGAAP would be beneficial
6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent commercial and business experience.
8. Good communication skills - both written and verbal.
9. Ability to stick to time constraints.
10. The ability to work as part of a team and to build strong working relationships.
