<h2 >Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant / Support </h2><p >We're working with a number of welcoming Bolton primary schools who are looking for exceptional SEND Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs.</p><p >This is not a general TA role. </p><p >I am specifically looking for individuals who:</p><ul ><li >Have hands-on experience supporting children with SEND (ASD, SEMH, speech & language, or complex needs)</li><li >Understand behaviour, emotional regulation, and building trust</li><li >Can stay calm, patient and consistent even on the toughest days</li><li >Are proactive and use their own initiative (not waiting to be told what to do)</li></ul><p >You might have worked as a:</p><ul ><li >SEND TA</li><li >Support worker / care worker</li><li >Nursery practitioner with additional needs experience</li><li >Youth worker or in SEMH settings</li></ul><h3 >What the role involves:</h3><ul ><li >1:1 or small group support</li><li >Helping children access learning in and out of the classroom</li><li >Supporting with routines, transitions, and emotional regulation</li><li >Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO</li></ul><h3 >The kind of people who do well in these roles:</h3><p >You've supported a child through a meltdown not just observed one.<br />You understand that behaviour is communication.<br />You build relationships first, learning comes second.</p><h3 >Important:</h3><p >Due to the nature of these roles, we are only able to progress candidates who can clearly demonstrate relevant SEND experience.</p><p >To apply, please send your CV and please include a short note outlining your SEND experience and the type of needs you've supported.</p><ul ><li >The types of SEND needs you've supported</li><li >A brief example of how you've helped a child manage behaviour or engage in learning</li></ul><p >Applications without this may not be considered.</p><h3 >What you'll get:</h3><ul ><li >Support in finding the right school for you</li><li >Ongoing work in local Bolton schools</li><li >Honest guidance we won't send you somewhere that isn't a good fit</li></ul><p > </p>PandoLogic.
