Role Title: SAP Business Capabilities Manager Work Mode: Remote Contract Duration: 6 months Location: United Kingdom (UK) – Candidate must hold a valid UK visa Experience Required: 10 years Role Overview The SAP Business Capabilities Manager will be responsible for defining, managing, and delivering global business requirements within SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in global template development, agile methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration between business and IT teams. Key Responsibilities Requirement Definition & Management Define and document global requirements and business needs, translating them into detailed user stories. Present user stories for Business Capability Owner (BCO) and Domain Architect (DA) approval. Collaborate with Product Manager, Product Owner, and Business Owner to prioritize features for PI Planning. Manage change requests and enhancements. Maintain and update requirements and progress tracking in Jira. Development & Collaboration Collaborate closely with IT and other cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle. Coordinate alignment across teams and regions during design and development phases. Support and prepare for Program Increment (PI) Planning sessions. Testing & Quality Assurance Create and execute test cases, performing System Acceptance Testing (SAT) and dry runs as needed. Support Fit-to-Template (FtT) sessions on an ad-hoc basis. Collaborate with the authorization team to ensure compliance and access control. Manage and track defects to resolution. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Develop comprehensive process documentation, playbooks, and training materials. Deliver Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions to internal teams, deployment teams, and data migration groups. Prepare training content for inclusion in the training factory repository. Pre-Deployment Support Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting the Green Team on pre-deployment activities. Key Skills & Qualifications Proven experience in global SAP template development and implementation. Expertise in requirement gathering and user story creation. Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and PI Planning. Strong background in testing, quality assurance, and defect management. Excellent documentation, process mapping, and technical writing skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across IT, business, and global teams. Exceptional communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement and training delivery. Must be based in the UK with a valid visa.
