This role will be based at either the Firepool Centre for Digital Innovation in Taunton or the Yeovil Innovation Centre in Yeovil (to be confirmed).
25 days annual leave, rising to 28 after five years continuous service.
37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What will I be doing?
We're working to maximise Somerset's economic prosperity, the environment for businesses, and the lives of the people who live here.
As part of the Workspace Operations Team, your day-to‑day work will include:
Helping to run an exciting portfolio of business workspaces, including the Firepool Centre for Digital Innovation (FCDI), the Yeovil Innovation Centre (YIC), and enterprise centres located across the county.
Providing reception and front-of-house customer support at either FCDI or the YIC, being an ambassador for centre (Your main base will be one centre, but occasional cover at the other may be required for annual leave or sickness).
Ensuring the centre runs smoothly, managing bookings, handling financial processes, and liaising effectively with other service areas involved in workspace maintenance and delivery (e.g. Facilities Management, ICT, Estates).
Preparing the centre for meetings and events, which may include setting up furniture and audio‑visual equipment.
Supporting delivery of the Council's network of ten enterprise centres. (Occasional travel within Somerset may be required, so access to your own transport is essential).
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:
Have experience of performing administrative and clerical duties to a high standard in a customer-facing environment.
Have excellent IT skills, able to confidently use Microsoft 365 applications.
Can build strong relationships with staff, tenants and users of our Innovation and Enterprise Centres.
Have excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise tasks effectively.
Are a good team player, able to adapt to changing priorities and willing to 'go the extra mile' to provide a friendly and professional service.
Have access to your own transport and a willingness to travel to workspace locations across the County.

Anything else I should know?
The salary for this role is £25,185 to £25,989 per annum for 37 hours per week.
