ROLE: Mobile Workplace Coordinator
HOURS: 40 hours per week, 8am–5pm
LOCATION: Network Rail – Raven House (Askew Road, Gateshead, NE8 2DT) / Darlington Parklane Offices / Morpeth Coopies Lane

We're looking for a Mobile Workplace Coordinator who will act as the customer‑facing representative for our services and provide a single, convenient point of contact to building users across multiple locations.
Role Responsibilities
1. Serve as the primary customer contact for all FM‑related issues, logging calls and directing them to the correct team.
2. Maintain an excellent relationship with building occupants, enhancing their workplace experience and exceeding expectations.
3. Ensure consistently high standards in all shared areas including desks, collaboration spaces and break‑out areas, reporting issues as required.
4. Actively walk the floors and maintain a visible presence to ensure standards are upheld and customers are proactively supported.
5. Hold regular communication and monthly meetings with Floor Leads to review issues, updates and outstanding works.
6. Log, track and chase work orders on behalf of the client.
7. Play an active role during fire emergencies in line with building procedures.
8. Communicate and collaborate closely with the wider team to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must meet the below requirements for the role.
9. Proven experience in a strong customer service–focused environment.
10. Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
11. Capable of working independently using own initiative and making decisions without escalation.
12. Experience using CAFM systems (e.g., logging jobs, raising purchase orders, running reports).
13. Flexible and adaptable with effective problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle conflict positively.
14. Strong attention to detail with methodical, organised working habits.
15. Competent IT skills, particularly across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
16. Ability to support printing and audio‑visual solutions.
17. A valid formal Health & Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH) is desirable.
