About the role.
We are looking for a Depot Manager to oversee equipment integrity, compliance and depot readiness, ensuring all rope access and lifting equipment is maintained, certified, and deployed safely.
This is a hands-on support role central to operational delivery, ensuring project teams have the tools, vehicles and certified equipment needed to mobilise safely and efficiently.
It is not a project management role, but a critical position that underpins site safety, asset tracking, and equipment lifecycle management.
Requirements.
* Experience working within rope access, work-at-height, lifting, or associated safety-equipment environments – Essential
* Strong knowledge of LOLER, PUWER and IRATA standards governing in-use equipment – Essential
* Excellent organisational and depot-management skills with a proactive, hands‑on mindset – Essential
* Full UK licence – Essential
* Experience working with geotechnical plant/tools/equipment – Desirable
* Forklift licence, PAT testing experience and strong IT/record‑keeping capability – Desirable
* IOSH Managing Safely certification – Desirable
