About the Role

This is a part-time position of 25 hours per week. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to cover a variety of shifts, which may include days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required.

We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our Domestic Services Team based at Rochdale Infirmary. The team provides essential cleaning services across multiple sites, including The Floyd Unit, Whitehall Street, and Tudor Court, ensuring a safe and high-quality environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

The successful post holder will join our Estates & Facilities team, delivering a high-quality, flexible and customer-focused service. As a Domestic Team Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a professional and efficient range of duties across the hospital.

We take great pride in our staff and we believe that investing in "You" is key in our ability to deliver high quality service. Here at the Northern Care Alliance, we have a strong focus on quality right across the organisation and we are looking for a Domestic Team Manager who wants to fulfil our vision of delivering first class care driven by our values.

Responsibilities

* Ensure the day-to-day domestic work is carried out effectively by the domestic team and manage and reorganise the work of team members’ schedules taking into account unforeseen circumstances such as sickness absence.
* Assist and provide a full cleaning service to sterile areas, offices, and departments in accordance with work schedules and activity within the area.

As a large NHS trust we are committed to enhancing the health of our local population by delivering consistently high standards of care and working closely with local authorities and key partners. We believe in our power and potential to make a difference and we’re always looking for people who demonstrate our three core values – care, appreciate and inspire – to join our team.

Benefits

In return, we can offer you a job role with purpose and flexibility. The size and scale of the NCA means we can provide more challenge and opportunities so your career can always be moving in the right direction. By joining us you can also access a competitive benefits package, including a fantastic annual leave allowance, flexible working opportunities and protected hours for health and wellbeing activities, helping you to achieve more personal downtime and a better work-life balance.
