Business Development Manager x2
£40,000 - £50,000
Drive meaningful corporate giving across the UK
Are you motivated by the idea of helping businesses create real social impact? Do you enjoy spotting opportunities, building partnerships, and developing relationships that make a difference? If so, we have two roles that could be a brilliant next step for you.
We’re working with a leading UK organisation that powers charitable giving for companies and their employees. They help millions of pounds flow to good causes every year through innovative, digitally enabled services - and they’re now looking for commercially minded Business Development Managers to help shape the next stage of their growth.
They currently have an excellent reputation that is built upon referrals and inbound leads; however, this will be a strategic, outward-facing role where you’ll blend commercial thinking, product development and relationship-building.
Responsibilities include:
* Lead the development and commercialisation of existing and new giving-focused products, including Payroll Giving, partnerships, and corporate fundraising solutions.
* Use market research and competitor insights to identify new opportunities and shape go-to-market plans.
* Define positioning, pricing, and market strategies that resonate with clients and CSR initiatives.
* Develop robust sales processes and strategies that drive growth and pursue new business and partnership opportunities.
* Manage and grow strong relationships with clients, prospects, and internal marketing, finance and operations teams.
* Monitor performance, forecast pipelines, and keep a close eye on sector trends.
What they’re looking for:
* Proven expertise in B2B or B2C product sales with both SMEs and corporates
* Strong knowledge of Payroll Giving and corporate fundraising.
* A solid understanding of how the non-profit / charity sector operates, and perhaps have contacts in the field already
* Strong commercial instincts with excellent negotiation skills.
* Experience leading sales teams or driving sales performance.
* Confident communicator with great stakeholder management skills.
* Comfortable working with CRM systems and sales analytics tools like Hubspot.
They’re flexible on location. If you're based in the North West, a hybrid working pattern is available, but being further afield isn’t a barrier. Because the role involves outbound outreach, following up on marketing activity, attending industry events and meeting clients face-to-face, you’ll need to be a proactive self-starter who’s genuinely committed to the mission.
You’ll be joining an organisation that enables businesses to support the causes their people care about and your work will directly influence how much funding reaches charities nationwide.
