About the role

Join our UKCS - Balfour Beatty Living Places team as a Street Lighting Installation and Maintenance Operative, and you'll undertake complex work that significantly impacts our business and the community around you.
What you'll be doing
1. The maintenance, erection, and removal of street lighting, signs, and related equipment, with careful attention to buried services and overhead cables.
2. The excavation and reinstatement of coated and other surface materials.
3. Driving vehicles and operating ancillary plant (such as hoists or lorry loaders), including routine vehicle and plant checks, maintenance, and cleaning.
Who we're looking for
Essential:
* GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency in IT skills.
Desirable:
* Street lighting experience.
* ECS with HEA Portfolio.
* NRSWA Operative qualification.
