Role Overview
The primary role is to support the helpdesk and infrastructure teams. Activities include building, maintaining and operating TUV SUD UK IT infrastructure as well as supporting the UK userbase. The successful candidate will work on other IT projects on the IT roadmap. This position will provide an opportunity to work within a busy, professional IT department in a team environment and collaborate directly with the various business areas within TUV SUD in the UK.
Location
The role will be based in Fareham, but travel to other offices throughout the UK may be required from time to time.
Essential Criteria
* Currently studying for a degree in Computer Science or a similar IT-based discipline
* Good communicator on a personal and written level
Desirable Criteria
* Knowledge of Windows desktop and server administration
* Linux administration
* Active Directory user and group management
* Microsoft Office applications (including Word and Excel)
* Scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, VBScript)
* TCP/IP networking
* Keen interest in technology
* Possess a full UK driving licence
