Salary start from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The following availability windows show the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you'll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues; if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we would still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; providing great natural service
* Be knowledgeable about products and services within the store
* Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required
* Apply training to work safely, effectively and serve customers brilliantly
* Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver routines that meet customer needs
* Participate in seasonal, community and charity events, creating an inclusive atmosphere
* Understand store performance and your role in driving service, sales, reducing waste and delivering profit
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition
* Represent Tesco values and follow policies
* Occasionally assist with deliveries into the store
