If the fundamentals aren’t clear, everything else becomes confusing.
As a Physics Teacher, you will teach KS4 students using structured explanations and clear models that allow them to build confidence step by step.
Key responsibilities
* Teach GCSE Physics
* Break down complex concepts into manageable steps
* Explain formulas, processes, and calculations clearly
* Support students with problem-solving
* Prepare students for exams through structured practice
* Track progress and address gaps in understanding
* Maintain a calm and focused classroom
The classroom environment
* Lessons are clear and well organised
* Students understand processes, not just answers
* Work is completed methodically
* Behaviour is consistent and well managed
Skills and experience
* Strong Physics subject knowledge
* Experience teaching secondary preferred
* Clear explanation and modelling skills
* Strong classroom management

* Improved exam confidence
* Steady progress across ability levels
QTS is desirable; unqualified teachers are welcome to apply, particularly those with Physics, engineering, or related backgrounds
