Graduate Behaviour Mentor – Role Overview:
Work 1:1 and in small groups with students who require behavioural and emotional support
Support pupils with ADHD, SEMH, and ASC needs
Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing
Deliver targeted interventions and behaviour strategies
Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and inclusion teams
Encourage academic and social development
Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents
Ideal Candidate – Graduate Behaviour Mentor:
Recent Psychology or Education graduate (or related discipline)
Experience working with young people (e.g. mentoring, youth work, school support, volunteering)
Understanding of safeguarding, special educational needs, and behaviour management
Calm, empathetic, and proactive under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A desire to work in education, educational psychology, counselling, or youth work
