We are looking for a Site Engineer to join our Infrastructure team on the A47 in Norwich.
What you'll do:
1. Communicate effectively with other engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers, and client representatives.
2. Write and/or Review Temporary Works Design Briefs to the acceptance of the TWC.
3. Review designs and raise any queries to your Section Engineer.
4. Understand the design specifications and drawings for your section. Challenge where relevant.
5. Work with the Section Engineer and supervisors to manage any clashes with other site works.
What you'll bring to the role:
6. Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering
7. Effective written and verbal communication skills to diverse audiences.
8. Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.
9. Knowledge and understanding of temporary works processes, design and management.
10. Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts (through experience and formal training).
