Core Responsibilities
1. Delivering intellectually stimulating lessons across the core domains of Psychology, including Social, Cognitive, Developmental, and Biological perspectives.
2. Teaching students how to apply the scientific method to psychological enquiry, including the design of experiments, data analysis, and the ethics of human research.
3. Preparing Year 11 and Year 13 students for GCSE and A-Level examinations (typically AQA or Edexcel), with a heavy focus on the "AO3" skill of critical evaluation.
4. Explaining complex neurological processes, such as the fight-or-flight response and the role of neurotransmitters in mental health conditions.
5. Leading discussions on contemporary issues in Psychology, such as the impact of social media on adolescent development and the nature vs. nurture debate.

The Successful Candidate We are looking for an analytical and empathetic educator who can make abstract theories accessible. Requirements include:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
* Exceptional subject knowledge, particularly in the core A-Level specifications and Research Methods.
* A proven ability to teach the mathematical requirements of the course, including descriptive and inferential statistics.
* The communication skills necessary to manage sensitive classroom discussions with professionalism and objectivity.
