Full-Time Practice Nurse Auchinairn Medical Practice
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at Auchinairn Medical Practice.
Located on the outskirts of Glasgow within East Dunbartonshire HSCP, our practice offers excellent transport links and access to a vibrant local community. With affordable housing, excellent local schools, and a strong sense of community, its a fantastic place to live and work.
We are a 4-partner, patient-centred GP training practice with a list size of over 7,000, operating from a modern, purpose-built premises with ample parking and well-designed clinical and administrative space to support effective multidisciplinary working.
About the Role
This is a full-time role for an experienced Practice Nurse with a strong background in primary care and chronic disease management. You will be jointly responsible for the monitoring, management, recall and review of long-term conditions, and will work closely with our current full-time Practice Nurse and the wider clinical and administrative team to organise and run nurse-led clinics.

Essential Criteria
1. NMC registration
2. Experience in a primary care setting
3. Comprehensive knowledge of chronic disease management
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
5. Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
6. Insight into current issues in nursing, primary care and the wider NHS
7. Evidence of a strong and appropriate clinical knowledge base
8. A qualification in prescribing is desirable but not essential.
