Our Occupational Hygiene department, founded in 2008, provides comprehensive services including air, noise, vibration, LEV, legionella, and COSHH assessments.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an Experienced Occupational Hygienist with a minimum of 1–2 years’ experience to join our established team. This is a site-based role requiring regular travel throughout the UK and occasional weekend or out-of-hours work. The position is based from our South East Head Office (Kent) to encourage collaboration and team working.
* Conduct site assessments and monitoring activities
* Analyse and report findings, including technical drawings
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and internal procedures
* Manage workload effectively to meet client deadlines
* Liaise professionally with clients and other stakeholder
* Assist in the training and development of junior occupational hygienists
* Support departmental operations as required
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Role Requirements
* Working towards or having achieved the BOHS Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (minimum 1–2 modules completed)
* Full UK driving licence
* Enhanced DBS check (completed during induction)
* Proven experience working independently as an occupational hygienist
* Strong analytical and technical report‑writing skills
* Excellent time management and punctuality
* Clear and professional communication skills (verbal and written)
