Lithium3 are seeking an experienced PLM Solution Architect with expertise in Siemens Teamcenter for an initial 6 month contract.
This is a large multi-site and global.
Remote role.
Outside IR35.
Market rates for people with Teamcenter experience.
We can wait for people with notice periods of up to 4 weeks.
The ideal PLM Solution Architect will lead and architect end-to-end solutions for upgrading Teamcenter PLM environments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations, optimised system performance, and alignment with future-state digital strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the architectural planning, design, and implementation of Teamcenter upgrade projects.
* Analyse current Teamcenter environments and define upgrade strategy (e.g., in-place vs. parallel upgrade).
* Collaborate with business, IT, and vendor stakeholders to capture functional and technical requirements.
* Design integration solutions with other enterprise systems (ERP, CAD, MES, etc.).
* Define and enforce best practices for data migration, testing, rollback planning, and performance tuning.
* Provide technical leadership to internal and vendor teams during upgrade execution.
* Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and business continuity standards.
* Perform risk assessments and create mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
* Document architecture decisions, integration points, and upgrade artifacts.
* Support troubleshooting and resolution of upgrade-related issues during and after go-live.
* Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and developers.
