They specialise in metallic and composite materials, developing innovative solutions for their international client base.Job Role – Quality EngineerReporting to the Quality Team Manager the Quality Engineer shall support resolution of quality issues throughout the business, which have an effect on Product Quality. Ensuring development of policies, procedures and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components or operations. Duties – Quality Engineer participate in improving product quality within Production.and participate in problem resolution investigations using tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys etc.and participate in audits (internal, customer and 3rd party) covering all aspects of the Business.Production during daily stand ups and being a focal point for quality aspects and concerns.out First Article Inspections for part and tools.New Product Introduction and Advance Product Quality Planning.Engineering and operations in product quality improvements, focusing on ‘right first time’ and rework reduction.support in the development of process documentation and to sign off on behalf of the Quality function with clear understanding of an engineering drawing.and generate Quality reports and documentation.change in customer specifications ensuring process owners implement change when required.measurement and compile reports using metrology equipment.in the preparation of FMEA, PPAP and APQP documentation in accordance with customer and regulatory standards.Experience/Qualifications – Quality EngineerHas a proven range of Quality/Business Improvement experienceCandidates who are currently a Quality Technician, Quality Assurance Engineer, QA Engineer, QMS Engineer, Quality Auditor, Quality Manager or Quality Lead could be suitable for this role.To make an application for this role please submit your CV to mark.davis@omegaresource.co.uk or for more information call 01453829529.For details of other opportunities available within your chose field please visit our website www.omegaresource.co.uk
