Technical & Project Safety Manager - HSE Manager
We are looking for a Technical & Project Safety Manager to lead health and safety excellence across technical operations and projects at GPSkal Assessoria e Projetos.
Responsibilities
* Drive health and safety excellence across technical operations and projects.
* Ensure full compliance with legislative requirements.
* Champion a culture of continuous improvement in Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental management.
* Develop and implement innovative policies and best‑practice procedures.
* Embed health and safety legislation and best practice across the business.
* Maintain quality, safety, health and environmental systems and verify their effective application.
* Ensure policies, procedures and business activities remain compliant with legislation and company strategic aims.
* Mitigate risk in all areas across the contract and demonstrate a strong HSEQ background and people‑management skills.
* Provide excellent internal and external customer relationships, commercial, supplier management and people skills; influence, train and support staff at all levels.
* Travel to client sites across the UK as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* In‑depth knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations and their application to construction and facilities management projects.
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety (minimum).
* Membership in professional bodies such as IOSH, IEMA or similar.
* ISO certification experience (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) implementation and auditing.
* Proven experience managing health and safety within technical, construction or engineering projects.
* Strong leadership experience and a proven track record of managing teams to deliver HSEQ objectives.
* Comprehensive understanding of UK Health and Safety legislation (e.g., Health and Safety at Work Act, RIDDOR, COSHH).
* Ability to work autonomously, analyse data and make sound business decisions.
* Valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.

Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30‑17:00, with flexibility to ensure service delivery at the highest level.
