Role Purpose The Installations and Service Technician is responsible for working alongside the projects and operations teams in installing, commissioning, and maintaining content / AV systems at client sites across the UK. Accountabilities · To work alongside the projects and operations teams in installing, commissioning, and maintaining content / AV systems across Great Britain, and Europe. · To build and install AV and rack-based systems. · To maintain, service, and upgrade technical equipment at a variety of sites across the UK. · To manage incidents and faults, documenting progress, and escalating where necessary. · To manage and update documentation. Knowledge, experience, and capabilities Critical knowledge · A demonstrable background in an AV, electrical engineering or related field, with experience in design and implementation of new concepts and solutions · Strong knowledge of video, audio, and networking systems. Critical experience · History of self-learning to achieve goals. · Experience installing and terminating structured cabling. · Experience installing equipment using appropriate tools and fixings. · Experience using system diagrams and schematics to fault find on technical systems. Critical technical, professional, and personal capabilities · Highly self-motivated, with the ability to prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines. · Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in a cross-functional team and key client stakeholders. · Positive outlook and “can-do” attitude. · Results and solution focused approach. Additional information · Working a 10-day / 80-hour fortnight, your time will be split between Operations and an New project installations. · A full UK driving licence. A van can be provided for role Salary is £26,000 to £30,000 DOE
