Role Description
The Service Engineer will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance and repair of security systems in the Bristol and Birmingham region, with travel required. This is a part-time, on-site position based in Wakefield. Core responsibilities include performing field service tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, conducting repairs, providing technical support to clients, and ensuring the proper functioning of security systems to the highest safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues effectively
* Experience in field service and an ability to work independently in various locations
* Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and team members
* Knowledge and experience in maintenance and repair of security systems
* Ability to provide technical support and training on the operation of systems
* Willingness and flexibility to travel as part of the role
* Valid driver’s license and ability to operate and transport equipment as needed
* Relevant technical education or certifications in engineering, electronics, or related fields are a plus
