Rheinmetall Electronics UK (REUK) Ltd operates internationally, designing and manufacturing advanced electronics products and systems for the communications, defence, security and government services market.
Responsibilities
* Drive project activity, resource and deliverables while ensuring all commercial business needs are met.
* Be the main point of contact to the customer for the project and coordinate REUK project activities.
* Work with the Project Controller and Head of Programmes to ensure full recording and reporting of project data to report on progress and performance.
* Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines and resource requirements to meet project scope.
* Execute projects efficiently, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance.
* Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, subcontractors and cross-functional teams, and conduct internal and external project meetings.
* Maintain effective communication channels to provide regular updates on project progress and address concerns.
* Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with security classifications in alignment with defence sector requirements.
* Monitor project budgets and financial accountability; allocate and manage resources to optimize outcomes; implement Earned Value Management where applicable.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical aspects of electronic hardware and software solutions; capture Technical Queries and facilitate responses from the engineering team.
* Ensure Programmatic and Technical aspects meet the scope of works and comply with applicable regulations and certifications.

* Understanding of technical development processes, including technical Stage Gates.

Qualifications and Experience
* Formal Project Management Qualification and/or suitable project experience.
* Experience working within a highly regulated and technical sector.
* Familiarity with UK defence and procurement processes/standards desirable.
* Eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance for projects within the UK Defence Sector.
The role may also be required to undertake other Project Management activities or any other reasonable task to support REUK business activities.
