An established, family-run manufacturing company with over 40 years of success is seeking a Shift Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced team in the Whitby area.
This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role with an electrical bias, working in a fast-paced and supportive environment where reliability and initiative are key.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair a range of electrical and mechanical equipment
* Carry out electrical fault-finding and installations
* Support planned maintenance, project work and respond to breakdowns
* Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
* Rotating shift pattern earlies, days, nights on a Monday to Friday rotation
About You
* Electrically apprentice-trained with recognised engineering qualifications
* Minimum 12 months’ practical maintenance experience
* Confident working with 3-phase systems up to 415V
* Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic systems
* Strong problem-solving, planning and communication skills
