Established in June 2001, Ecodrive Transmissions, based in Manchester at Oakhill Trading Estate, Walkden (M28 3PT), is an authorised ZF DriveCentre and the UK's leading ZF Service Partner. They specialise in transmission and driveline services-including servicing, VOR repairs, component fitting, diagnostics, and mobile field support-for automatic, manual, and automated-manual gearboxes across trucks, buses, PSV, and off‑highway vehicles.


Responsibilities

* Correctly maintain paperwork and forms relating to our quality system & personal responsibilities.
* Generally assisting in all areas of the sales team responsibilities.
* Day to day management of order processing and data inputting using Merlin Business Software.
* Handling customer sales enquiries, including price negotiation and supply requirements within set parameters.
* Ensuring that all calls are answered and re‑directed in a timely and professional manner.
* Ensure that all incoming calls are answered in a timely and professional manner as determined by the company.
* Progress reporting on customer jobs.
* Liaising with workshop & stores.
* Liaising with customers and suppliers on product related matters.
* Assist in the formulation of successful marketing initiatives from initial ideas through to final implementation.
* Assist with Field Service/Warranty Administration and data inputting
* General filing.
* Producing spreadsheets and Word documents using Microsoft Office.
* Attend internal and external training courses as and when required.
* Any other duties you are trained & capable to perform at the discretion of your Manager.

You will be working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship, and attending sessions at Alliance Learning in Horwich, Bolton. We are looking for someone who is looking to start their career in a growing company, you will be hard working, punctual with a good eye for detail. Good communication skills and time keeping is a must.
