KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Working in partnership with the Project staff in line with the Trusts Lone Worker Policy
* Ensuring that residents, visitors and staff receive a quality service at all times
* Providing a safe and secure environment for all occupants of the premises and grounds
* Being responsible for Emergency Procedures, and the actions to be taken
* Actively ensuring the physical security of the hostel, including any out buildings
* Having a comprehensive knowledge of the security systems
* Ensuring locked areas such as storage areas, laundry and boiler rooms are checked at regular intervals to ensure they are secure
* Assisting in the issue and receipt of residents keys, where appropriate and ensure all accesses are adequately locked
* Cleaning duties in the kitchen and office
* Liaising with Police if necessary
* Reporting faulty or misplaced firefighting equipment to the Hostel manager
