My Client, a market leading Environmental Consultancy based in the South West, are searching for a Senior Hydraulic Modeller to join their supportive team based in Sheffield.
As a Senior Hydraulic Modeller you are required to have a strong academic background and experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in flood risk assessments and hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow. It is also beneficial for applicants to reside in the Sheffield and have experience completing drainage strategies.
Typically the role will involve varied residential, healthcare, higher education, flood alleviation and natural flood management projects for both public and private sector Clients.
You will also be required to complete the following;-Hydraulic modelling and model build using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.-Flood risk assessments, flood consequence assessments and nutrient neutrality assessments.-Hydrological assessments.-Natural flood management, wetland management and re-wilding projects. -Flood risk mapping and estimation. -Support new team members and check technical flood risk/complex hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.-Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients and Local Authorities to develop new opportunities and ensure projects are delivered to time and budget.This role comes with a competitive salary, benefits package and career development.
