We are looking for an Identity Access Management Infrastructure Engineer to join our community of tech experts in DWP Digital. What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
* Experience of working with Active Directory, Entra ID, MFA technologies.
* Experience and knowledge of onboarding applications to Entra ID e.g. Enterprise Applications.
* Practical experience and knowledge in scripting languages for automation e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI.
* Experience of implementing and working with Privileged Access Management systems and RBAC e.g. Azure Privileged Identity Management (PIM) or CyberArk PAM.
* Knowledge and experience of working with Secrets Management.
* Proven ability to operate effectively within complex environments, collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and managing relationships with multiple suppliers.
You and your role
We’re building secure, scalable systems that support millions of users, using Entra ID, Active Directory and cloud platforms like Azure and AWS with automation. This role focuses on identity security and digital encryption, covering authentication protocols, certificate management and secrets handling. It’s fast-paced and evolving. If you’ve got experience with IAM, PKI and cloud integration and you’re comfortable scripting and automating with tools like PowerShell or APIs you’ll fit right in.

Details, Wages & Perks
Location: You’ll work in one of our digital hubs in Leeds, Blackpool, Manchester or Newcastle, according to what’s most convenient.
Hybrid Working: Hybrid model with time at home and in a hub.
Pay: Up to £52,442.
Pension: Civil service pension with employer contributions of 28.97% (approx. £12,000 per year).
Holidays: 26 days rising to 31 days with time off flexi-time options and public holidays.
