Senior Theatre Practitioner Salary: £36,591 – £44,000 per annum Contract: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) Location: Cranbrook, TN17 Setting: Hospital Theatres Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to deliver high standards of perioperative care and support the safe and effective running of theatre services. Key Responsibilities Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative patient care Prepare and facilitate theatre lists Lead theatre sessions and support service delivery Maintain safe medication and controlled drug management Supervise and train junior staff Support audits, quality improvement and governance Ensure compliance with hospital policies and CQC standards Maintain accurate clinical and IT documentation Requirements First Level Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered ODP Post-registration experience in theatre settings Expert scrub nurse experience Strong leadership and organisational skills Excellent communication and teamwork SFA qualification desirable (not essential) Patient-centred and professional approach
