We are looking for a proactive, detail‑driven engineer to support the design and development of mechanical components and installations across our electronics systems — both on and off the car. Key Responsibilities Designing mechanical parts, enclosures, tooling, fixtures, and installations for race car and supporting environments. Producing technical and assembly drawings for mechanical, composite, and electronic components. Creating and releasing schematics and CAD schemes for electrical harnesses, components and installations. Specifying components and creating manufacturing documentation for internal and external workshops. Ensuring packaging, cooling, anti‑vibration and regulatory requirements are met for electronic installations. Working closely with design groups to deliver integrated, optimised packaging solutions. Supporting production teams and suppliers with technical queries, updates, and component release. Participating in initial builds to identify and resolve issues quickly. Collaborating with the electronics workshop and other departments as required. Engaging proactively in meetings and contributing to continuous improvement across the team. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Relevant qualification and experience in mechanical design, ideally within electronics. Experience designing carbon fibre components, enclosures, tooling and installations — preferably in motorsport. Proficiency with industry‑standard CAD tools (CATIA 3DX preferred). Strong understanding of harness components and materials. Innovative problem‑solving approach with excellent attention to detail. Ability to thrive under pressure and work to demanding schedules. Strong decision‑making skills and a results‑oriented mindset. Collaborative attitude and ability to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
