The role
has a primary focus on business development but will require marketing experience to support and drive campaigns, events, and strategic team-wide projects. Reporting to, and working collaboratively with, the Senior Business Development Manager for Real Estate.
Role responsibility
You will work across Real Estate to support both new and existing client development and will require significant interaction with partners, lawyers and other business services teams. This role will also support sector group activity where needed.
1. Provide day to day BD and marketing support to groups within the Real Estate Department.
2. Assist in the drafting and delivery of BD and sector plans
3. Support on firm wide, sector-based campaigns
4. Support on capability documents, pitches and experience collation
5. Oversee and monitor business development budgets and expenditure
6. Drafting and submitting directory submissions
7. Provide advice to lawyers on how to raise profile, network and follow up on potential opportunities
8. Support the lawyers in producing relevant legal updates, bulletins and blogs
9. Work with the central MarComms team to execute marketing tactics and ensure all key channels are used to maximise impact
10. Support the management of the Focus Account Programme.
About you
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:
11. Proven experience working in professional services, preferably within the legal sector
12. Experience of working within Real Estate industry
13. Initiative and proactivity, being able to anticipate stakeholders needs.
14. The ability to think strategically and commercially
15. Strong organisational skills
16. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
17. Attention to detail
18. The ability to interact with and build relationships with individuals at all levels across the business.
