The Role:
We are seeking an HSE Advisor to join a leading mechanical contractor on a shutdown at a chemicals site in South Wales. This role will involve site-based supervision of health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure safe working practices are followed.
- Support toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety briefings.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE procedures, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).
- Work closely with site management and trades teams to promote a strong safety culture.
- Assist in incident reporting and investigations, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Liaise with client representatives and subcontractors regarding HSE compliance.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH
- Background in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering
