Assembly Technician (Precision / Cleanroom Environment)
Location: Hailsham, East Sussex - own transport essential due to location

Assembly Technician – Key Duties
- Assemble precision mechanical and electrical components using engineering drawings
- Carry out specialist wiring and electrical testing
- Work within strict cleanroom / controlled environment standards
- Support introduction of new products into production
- Maintain build records, test data, and serial number traceability
- Update and follow manufacturing instructions and procedures
- Ensure high standards of quality control at all times
- Occasional site visits may be required (planned in advance, expenses covered)
Assembly Technician – What We're Looking For
- Experience in precision assembly or low-volume manufacturing
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good wiring / hands‑on technical skills
- Experience in cleanroom or high‑tech manufacturing (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Able to work to deadlines and follow processes
- Basic IT skills (MS Office)
Assembly Technician – About You
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) or time‑served apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Mechanical Engineering Level 3 (desirable)
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Calm under pressure
- High attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and pride in your work
