Robert Half Technology is assisting a global fashion powerhouse in recruiting a 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer on a contract basis based in their London office.
Role
* The 1st/2nd Line Support Engineer will be responsible for proactive monitoring, maintenance, and support/escalation of incoming IT support requests via email, phone, or internal ticketing system.
* Collaborate with site-based IT contacts, including providing training and advice to ensure Victoria-based staff are well-informed and consistent.
* Develop support documentation to enhance user experience where necessary.
* Enhance in-house skillsets with clear progression paths to higher levels of expertise.
* Provide occasional out-of-hours support as required.
* Assist the Group Technology and wider IT teams.
* Perform any other ad-hoc work as determined by the Group IT Manager.
Profile
* Proven experience supporting complex, disparate networks.
* Experience supporting all levels of business users, including VIPs, managing expectations, and resolving issues.
* Ability to initiate, manage, and deliver challenging projects both technically and from a management perspective.

* Microsoft Server 2008 and higher
* Active Directory
* DNS / DHCP
* Microsoft O365
* Citrix
* WIFI technology
* Remote Connectivity tools
* Cloud-based tools
