JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, Hackney Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85.00 - £95.00 Per day, PAYE Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant Skills: SEN, ASD, Learning support, reading and writing support, behavioural management, classroom management, makaton, team teach Job Duties: - Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) - Assist with individual and group activities to enhance learning - Support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their educational development - Provide reading and writing support to students as needed - Implement behavioural management strategies to support student learning - Assist with classroom management and organisation - Utilise makaton and team teach techniques as required Required Qualifications: - Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification Education: - Relevant qualification in Education or related field Experience: - Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs - Experience working with KS1/KS2 - Background working with SEN Knowledge and Skills: - Strong understanding of SEN and ASD - Ability to provide learning support to students - Proficient in reading and writing support techniques - Effective behavioural and classroom management skills - Knowledge of makaton and team teach approaches Preferred Qualifications: - Additional training in SEN or related field Working Conditions: - Temporary position based in Hackney, Greater London - Full-Time hours - Working closely with students with Special Educational Needs - Collaborating with teachers and other support staff - Adhering to school policies and procedures All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
