About Connected Assistants is a learning and development platform for Executive Assistants and Chiefs of Staff. We offer mentoring, training, thought leadership, and community. Everything we create is designed to empower and equip those working in executive operations. We’re part of Catalyst Core, a strategy and execution consultancy, but this role is focused entirely on the Connected Assistants brand. You’ll work closely with our founder to bring clarity, polish, and structure to the content we share.
The Role
We’re looking for a creative partner who can design sharp, accessible visuals and also support with audio content production. You’ll take existing content, think blogs, slides, worksheets, and a couple of brewing ideas, and help us shape it into well-designed, brand-aligned formats. The core of your work will be design, but we’re also looking for someone who’s confident editing audio clips and helping package content for publishing. This isn’t a creative director role. We’re not looking for big-concept branding or strategy. We already have a tone, aesthetic, and content calendar. What we need is someone who can work with pace and care to deliver final versions that are clean, clear, and on point.
You’ll Be Working On
* Visuals for blogs, leadership tools, and interactive workbooks
* Slide decks for workshops and recorded sessions (built in Canva or PowerPoint)
* Design assets for LinkedIn, newsletters, and marketing campaigns
* Branded merchandise graphics for print-on-demand (via Printify)
* Editing and polishing podcast or audio content
* Preparing content for publishing across web and social platforms
* Keeping our visual presence consistent, professional, and human
What We’re Looking For
* A sharp design eye with a strong sense of layout, flow, and clarity
* Confident use of Canva and PowerPoint
* Ability to refine and finalise existing content rather than starting from scratch
* Some experience with basic audio editing (e.g., trimming, cleaning, exporting clips)
* Clear communication and responsiveness
* Someone who works well independently but asks questions when needed
* A preference for clarity over cleverness — clean, functional design over flash
* Comfortable working async, with some overlap in UK mornings
Nice to Have (But Not Essential)
* Experience working with learning platforms or coaching brands
* Familiarity with Printify or preparing assets for print
* An interest in the world of EAs, leadership development, or operations
* Freelance or part-time
* 5 to 10 hours per week to start, with room to flex
* Paid hourly or per deliverable
* Potential to grow into a longer-term creative partner role
