Casual Food and Beverage Assistant - Stockton Globe
You’ll report to the Food and Beverage Manager, or their Deputy/Supervisor. The focus of this job role will be to work within the Globe supporting all events, VIP room and back of house hospitality.
Please note, your role may involve working with children or vulnerable people.

The Globe is the largest venue between Leeds and Newcastle focusing on Live Music and Comedy.
Key responsibilities
* Greet and engage with customers ensuring they feel genuinely welcomed to the venue and treated appropriately as an important and valued customer.
* Deliver excellent service and quality food and beverages.
* Work with team members to create a friendly and welcoming environment and culture.
* Maintain up to date knowledge of the venue, current and upcoming shows, products and other information relevant to customers and to recommend additional products and services as appropriate.
* Proactively suggest and upsell food and beverages products.
* Know and understand our sales targets and to work to exceed them.
* Proactively identify risks to customer or staff health, safety or security and take appropriate actions to keep everyone safe.
* Ensure company Risk Management policies and guidance are complied with.
* Work collaboratively as a team member, working well with others to ensure all required tasks are completed, and work independently.
* Proactively identify tasks which need to be done and take responsibility for completing them.
* You will help with our DAS service (Deliver at Seat) during the interval. This involves knowing your way around the theatre and taking the customers delivery to their seats. Please be mindful this involves a quick service and going up and down stairs.

* Have working knowledge of health & safety practices and policies.

* Customer service experience.
Desirable
* Hold a relevant First Aid Qualification.
* Have a Food Hygiene (Levels 2/3) qualification.
* Have experience with working in a large event setting.
* Have experience working within a catering or food-based environment.
* Bar experience working in a fast-paced environment.
