Position Details
* Position: Primary School Teacher
* Location: Southend-on-Sea
* Salary: £125-£230 per day (£24,375 - £44,850 annually), depending on experience and qualifications
* Contract Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver creative, stimulating lessons tailored to diverse learning needs
* Create a positive, respectful classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration
* Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform teaching strategies
* Differentiate instruction to meet individual needs, providing support or challenge as appropriate
* Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders to support student well-being and learning
* Participate in professional development and contribute to school improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (PGCE or equivalent preferred)
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching in primary schools; ECTs are encouraged to apply
* Strong knowledge of primary curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
* Passion for working with children and promoting their comprehensive development
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team
