About the roleThe IT Re-Install & Install Engineer is responsible for executing both re-installation and new installation of IT hardware across designated areas of branch sites. This includes mounting monitors on newly supplied arms, setting up ID scanners and network printers, and configuring customer-facing areas such as Tech Bars and Self-Service Rooms. Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Ground Floor Re-Installations:Set up 1x Quiet Room (QR1): Install monitor screens onto newly supplied monitor arms.Re-install 2x Counter Positions.Re-install 3x Admin Positions.Install 1x ID Scanner.Install 1x Network Printer (Admin).
2. First Floor Re-Installations:Set up 3x Quiet Rooms: Install monitor screens onto newly supplied monitor arms.
3. Ground Floor Installations:Install equipment in 1x Customer Self-Service Room.Set up 1x Tech Bar (may require tablet – to be confirmed).Install 1x Kensington lock for Tech Bar.
4. Ensure all monitor arms (supplied by the property) are securely fitted and screens properly mounted.
5. Fill storage boxes per position for removal from site.
6. Wear full PPE at all times, especially on dmissioned or construction sites:Hard hatHigh-visibility jacketSteel-cap bootsGogglesGlovesNose mask
7. Review and understand all documentation provided via email prior to the site visit.
8. Carry and maintain a hard copy of the ‘Sign-off Sheet’ for onsite verification.
9. Notify the project team upon arrival and again uponpletion of work (including in and out-of-hours tasks).
10. Adapt to varying site conditions, including those under construction or not yet fully operational.
