Salary: Grade 6 (£28,598 to £31,022)
Location: Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre or various locations across Dudley borough

The role
As a Senior Support Worker your primary role will be to support Community Care Supervisors. We are looking for someone with drive and enthusiasm who wants to make a difference. You will be working 37 hours per week on a flexible rota which includes some weekends, evenings and bank holidays, for which relevant enhancements will be paid.
Responsibilities
* Taking delegated responsibility to enable people to be supported at home with their daily living activities.
* Supporting a community care service providing person centred support and opportunities for people and their carers.
* Looking after a team of designated staff in order to meet the requirements of service initiatives and developments, including all legislative standards, e.g. CQC, Care Act.
* Assisting in managing the demand for care capacity and ensuring safe discharge and care provision.
* Working at maximising a person’s independence to deliver their person-centred outcomes.
Terms and conditions
As an employee of Dudley MBC, you will receive a comprehensive annual leave package, an option to join the pension scheme and regular supervisions. You may need to work flexibly, travelling across the Dudley borough and will therefore need to have the use of a vehicle.
