Sales Administrator and Customer Service Near Bridgnorth Permanent Monday to Friday 8.30am 5pm with an early finish on a Friday Up to £30000 per annum Prince is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company based in South Shropshire to offer an exciting opportunity for a Sales Administrator and Customer Service professional to join their team. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this role will involve managing sales orders from start to finish, including processing orders, dispatching goods, and handling invoicing, all while serving as the primary point of contact for customers. You will also manage the Sales Directors emails, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with, and any urgent issues are flagged for his attention. Key Responsibilities: Process and manage sales orders from entry to dispatch and invoicing. Serve as the main point of contact for customers via phone and email. Coordinate order loading and delivery dates with production teams. Communicate with customers and freight companies to arrange shipping and delivery. Issue order acknowledgments and relevant documentation to customers. Prepare and organize shipping paperwork and schedule transport. Send shipping and invoice details to customers in a timely manner. Complete all export documentation (e.g., consignment notes, forwarding agent instructions, EUR1s, certificates of origin and conformity, etc.). Work with a variety of carriers (DHL, DPD, pallet carriers), and coordinate with sea, road, and air freight services to manage shipments worldwide. Respond to customer inquiries and manage complaints, price disputes, and invoice queries. Process credit notes and prepare documentation for approval as needed. Create and maintain customer accounts, both new and existing. Maintain communication with freight companies regarding shipments and upcoming orders. Attend daily and weekly dispatch meetings to ensure smooth operations. Oversee daily transport arrangements and freight invoicing. Organize and maintain filing systems for relevant documents. Carry out various administrative tasks as required by the company. Handle any additional tasks related to the role in coordination with the Sales Director. You should be adept at multitasking, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy fostering strong customer relationships. A team-oriented attitude and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
