Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate all café activities, including food preparation, serving, and cleaning routines.
* Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and oversee team performance to ensure smooth operations.
* Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
* Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality control and consistency in menu offerings.
* Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service, addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.
* Monitor stock levels, place orders as necessary, and manage inventory to minimise waste.
* Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure quality ingredients and supplies.
Requirements
* Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably within a café or similar setting.
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
* Demonstrable supervising experience with team management skills.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.
* Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
* Experience in hospitality roles such as serving or barista work is advantageous.
* Familiarity with kitchen operations, restaurant workflows, or hotel experience is desirable.
