Salary: Surrey Job Family PS6, FTE Salary £29,697-£31,848. Pro Rata for 30.5 hours per week £21,089-£22,617
Additional hours may be available to cover breakfast and after school provision if required.
Nursery Nurse Required April 2026
We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to work as part of our nursery team. Our new teacher-led nursery opened in September 2024, accepting children from the age of 2 years. We have created a beautiful, inspiring space and have access to fantastic primary school facilities which include a forest school and vibrant school garden.
Responsibilities
* Hold a relevant qualification such as NVQ level 2/3 in Early Years childcare, or equivalent
* Have experience of working within a nursery setting
* Have a positive, hardworking and "can do" attitude
* Have sound experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); able to contribute to planning, observations and reports
* Possess a high level of written and spoken English
* Provide the children with a safe, secure environment
* Operate a key-person system and liaise with parents/carers and senior staff
* Contribute to planning, observations and reports
* Be flexible and creative, with the commitment to provide first-class childcare and have lots of fun

A term-time contract awaits successful applicants, working 38 weeks per year with additional in-service training days (up to three per year) paid as overtime.
